Default To Pulley Or Not To Pulley That Is the Q?

I havent seen alot of talk about pullies on these things. What pulleys if any are beneficial when swapped and how much HP "realistically" lol.

That is a pretty good price for an ASP.

if it was a solid 10 at the wheels it would be worth it as a "last thing left" mod like you said lol.

Thats a good price for an ASP, and you cant get a better brand really. If you've done everything else, go for it. If not, wait til you install a camshaft, and get all the work down there done at once. Its worth the 10whp either way, though.

Just do the underdrive pulley, there's one other you can swap out, i think the Alternator pulley. But I would reccomend against that one, a little superfluous and it reduces how well the alternator charges the battery.

what HP you might gain could be negated by the false knock unblalanced pullies can cause.

I personally don't think it is worth it, but other people would disagree. I had some problems with charging with an aftermarket 160 amp alternator at the stock idle RPM (800).

what about if you get the overdrive alternator pully? I guess that could take away some of the gains though

Thus negating some of the gains you had by speeding back up one of the accessories. No thanks. It just isn't worth it.
