Default Those with 400+rwhp and the Corsa exhaust system come on in!

Ever since my car has passed the 400rwhp mark my Corsa exhaust poops out on me. For the second time the baffels in my muffler have broken. WTF?

Am I the only one experiencing this problem or do others with this exhaust system have the same problem? I might just switch to a true dual setup if I'm going to have to replace my muffler every year.

Well the first time this happen to me I got a replacement muffler straight from Corsa. This was about 2 years ago. Maybe they fixed the problem since then? I gotta call them when I get a chance and see.

So you just ripped out the baffle and left it?

My Corsa system is around 2 years old and I have had no problems with it. The last year was with the current setup just shy of 400rwhp.

How do you drive? Very aggressively or conservatively?

Mine had a weird rattle inside and I sent the muffler back to them and they gave me a new one a few years back. It was a problem with their early mufflers.

It just depends on the day. OK, I am usually conservative but have done 3 High Performance Driving events. I got 2 tires off-track once and whacked the y-pipe. That should have shook anything loose that was going to!

Thats correct The sound got a little meaner tone to it too. His car has 420+rwhp, our driving style can be described as agressive

It seems that Corsa fixed the problem since I had my last replacement so I'll just get the muffler replaced again and hopefully it won't happen anymore.

I'm pretty close to that number, and the only problem I've had with my Corsa is both welds on the center resonator end caps cracked open on me. I don't think that was HP related, but rather the flimsy design of those end caps combined with the heat when welded originally.

Your flowmaster is already broken, architecturally. Its internal design is horrible and is going to do everything in its power to prevent you from reaching your 400+. Ive never heard of it breaking physically though.

Not to change the topic but I second that. Flowmaster should really change their name to Slowmaster.

Just broke my second Corsa! They replaced it for free! Lost my first one back about 3 1/2 years ago and got a new one then. Then that one went bad in jan. Still went back with them.
