you may be ok without a tune but you will not see the full potential of the headers and high flow cats without a tune.

If you're done with the mods, get a tune. You'll be fine with the stock tune if you have something else coming up. I don't know your current mods, but typical mods after headers are an intake and a camshaft. Wait until both of those happen to get a tune if that's what you want to do. Even with the ORY you wouldn't need a dyno tune, just some 02 sims or tune them out or live with the SES.

You will need a tune to get the full potential out your headers. We sell the SLP Predator, which is great for this. Basically, a regular Predator is not designed for cars with headers, so you will not see great gains. The SLP Predator comes with tunes that are designed to work with their Performance Packs. The included 400 Performance Pack tune is designed on SLP's dyno to work with headers and will provide great results while turning the O2's off and eliminating the SES light. All this, on top of the regular stuff a Predator can do.

Though it is not an F-body, there is a guy on LS1GTO who has Kooks 1 7/8" headers, and the SLP 455 Bobcat tune (from the SLP GTO Predator), and he is making 371 RWHP. Stock GTO's are in the 330 range. This is on an A4 GTO. I run the 455 tune on both my GTO's with great results. F-body guys will see smilar effects with the 400HP Performance pack tune.

You can check the SLP Predator out here-

Ive tuned a few local cars that had headers and no tune and the WOT A/F was ~15:1 and while crusing trims were crazy.

Hey Brian.

Guys, I tuned his car when it had just H/C and shorties, JFYI. The question is would he be fine with LT and cats vs. Shorties and cats. It will be ok, but as mentioned ... to get the full potential would require a re-tune.
