I would not trade my Loudmouth from SLP for anything!!!! If you want a real muscle car sounding exhaust then the Loudmouth is for you. It lets everyone know you mean business.

Loudmouth sux ***, especially with LTs. If/when you upgrade to longtubes you will hate the LM and end up spending more $$$ on something else. Get the Hooker cat-back and be done with it! It sounds great with a stock exhaust and even better with longtubes.

Another vote here for the Hooker cat back. It costs $279 and you can remove it in
15 mins while at the track.

another vote for borla here. loudmouth is loud as hell but its also ridiculously loud inside the car too. borla is quite loud but interior noise isnt so bad even with it wide open.

Magnaflow sounds great (not too loud). It flows great. It's high quality, polished stainless steel.
Someone had to speak up for Magnaflow.

Personally, I LOVE the loudmouth it is awsome but it is LOUD and to some people it sounds "trashy" it's just a matter of opinion. You should try and listen to one in person. Most people don't like it with LT's unless you run cats because of rasp. If you are afraid that it will be too raw sounding you should try and listen to one in person or if you aren't afraid of spending $500+ on a catback the Borla sounds good (not as good as Loudmouth, IMHO) and is adjustable and comes with a million mile warranty b/c it is quality built. Hope this helps.

I dont have any of the obove so Im not going to tell you wrong!!!
Loud mouth is LOUD, however it has a gurgle sound to it, It is nice for the mony but a little raspy. Borla is again a little raspy but with no cats, long tubes and the med plate in it sounds UNREAL!!!!!!! Never herd the hooker. I think your best bet for real Muscle car sound with no rasp to it is spend all the money up front and go to www.ls1speed.com they have a true dual setup, It is the *****!!!!! Its mad $$$$ but a mandral bent, stainless!!! you will never need another one again!!!!!!! Good luck anyway!

Another vote for the Loudmouth. But if plan on running longtubes with no cats like me, you better think twice. It's loud not loud BUT LOUD! With stock manifolds and cats loudmouth is great. Loudmouth with SLP lt's and no cats..be prepared.

The cheapest mods you can do would be a FRA w/aftermarket lid and a cutout. That's a lot of bang for the buck.Maybe $150.I'm not sure how much the cutout is,couldn't be to much.

Good Luck...

I have Borla and Hooker LT's/ORY. I have a cam, but I love it. I have people tell me its too loud, even a couple of officers had a word about it. Also, it depends on what kind of look you want with your rear. I think the Borla intercooled tips look great, either those or nothing. But for the price issue, borla is pricey, but myself and others they have no problems with it, unlike the corsa and LM. Plus the borla is adjustable, so if you dont like how loud it is, you can tone it up or down. It just depends on your taste and pocket book when you start doing mods to your car.

Another vote for Hooker, and it is the cheapest or close to the cheapest. It is quiet enought when just cruising around and you don't get resonance, and when you get on it, it is loud enought to let people know that you are on the gas.

I disagree with all of you. I used to think Borla and Hooker were the two best, then I heard Spintech. It sounds awesome. For a soundclip, go to www.kentislandspeed.com and listen to a souindclip they ahve there

For sound quailty I like the Corsa & Borla the best.

For a nice quiet stealthy cat-back that can deliver excellent performance I like the SLP dual/dual.
