Default Shelf life of spark plugs

Hey all, I just have a quick question. When I put my headers on about a year and a half ago, I bought new plugs to put in the car. I ended up forgetting I had bought them when we put the headers on, so I still have them sittin here. They are the NGK tr55's. Im having a cam installed this next week or so, would my NGK's I still have sittin here at home still be good to put in when I have the cam installed? I dont really see why they wouldnt be bad but Im not positive. I dont have a problem buying new ones, just curious. Thanks guys.

They're still new - I wouldn't think twice about using them.

Plugs dont go bad. As long as they weren't left somewhere to rust or corrode they are still new.

there are people with NOS plugs from the early 1900s that are still good... lol

they dont go bad, they're just a couple strips of metal and some ceramic.... the only way they can degrade just sitting there is if they're in a corrosive environment.

as long as the ceramic isnt cracked, and it isnt corroded, its good.
