Default ls1 intake manifold gaskets? ----help

hey everyone im planing to install an ls6 valley cover on my camaro. the kit didnt come with any intake manifold gaskets, nor do the instructions mention anything. people who pulled their intake, do you need new gaskets before you put it back on?????

Not unless they're damaged. They're rubber and dont need much torque on the bolts. Plus they're pretty expensive if my memory serves me correctly. I used the ones that were still in the LS6 intake when I got it... 10k miles ago.

you wont need new gaskets unless ones ripped....or you'd want a better gasket....if im right...the ls6 comes with the red gaskets with stick out more and give a better seal then the gray ones which are flush with the manifold
