Default What exhaust for 414ci+?

I will have a 414 soon with QTP headers w/ high velocity merge collector and QTP ORY...
What exhaust should I do from the Y back? I want to sound as close to stock as possible without sacraficing alot of power. I dont want to sound any louder than a H/C car. I want a smooth sounding exhaust. On my Z i had stock manifolds with Mac Off road Y and a Dynomax bullet then dumped before the axle. I loved the way that sounded. What should I do?

Thanks

with cubes like that, you should run the 1 7/8 QTP headers, and 3" x-pipe dual exhaust =]

well without sacrificing a lot of power and you want close to stock sound and be smooth i vote for the SLP dual/dual. it is the most quiet high flow muffler. if you want all out power, true duals, but you are gonna be race car loud! also sticking a bullet muffler in the I pipe will quiet it down even more.

I did not mean close to stock, but rather CLOSEST to stock. It wont sound anything like stock but I just am showing you guys what direction I want to go.

Any idea on how much power Id lose from say dumped straight pipes no mufflers to a nice catback like that?

Why not the SLP dual/dual and a pair of cutouts in the Y-pipe? That way you get the stock-like sound of the SLP on the street, but at the track uncork the cutouts and you're about as free-flowing as it gets.

I had a bassani on my 382 stroker and it was very tame sounding. a little loud when it was opened up, but is high flowing, quieter but great sounding exhaust. even better, hardly anyone has one, I like to be a little different anyway...
