K&N along with the FTRA. Can it be done?

K&N along with the FTRA. Can it be done? The one with the Filter on top of the radiator. I thought that the bottom plate that covers the radiator could be cut, and a piece made to seal off the rest of the engine, & it would get cold air all the time. Anyone here try that yet?

Re: K&N along with the FTRA. Can it be done? I thought about doing something like that with my FIPK but the more I thought about it,the best route is a lid,K&N filter.and FTRA.I got better performance when I went with the lid/ftra setup.
