Default is an X-pipe the cure?!

I just replaced my Spiral Flows with Magnaflows(part #10416) at the rear. It still just doesnt have that sound that most of you guys seem to have with the true duals. The magnaflows quieten' it down some while cruisin which was what i was wanting, but now at idle its seems louder because its deeper sounding. Im thinking of getting rid of the H-pipe setup that my exhaust guy put on and replacing it with an X-pipe.

Also i know that when im in Park and rev it up...when i let off it still has the blatty sound to it. WTF..thought the magnaflows would take care of that. I have cats and its crush bends over the axle. TIA guys

It honestly should sound better with the H pipe. The X is probably going to add a bit of rasp. Do you have a sound clip? It probably sounds good. If you have been comparing it to soundclips your just gonna drive yourdelf nuts. Video compression really changes exhaust sounds on the computer. I have vids of mine and it sounds MUCH quiter than it actually is on the videop clip.

super 40's are 5" tall compared to the 4" tall super 44s. I can't see them being taller than flo-pro twisters.

i suggest you start looking around and listening to cars in person before you make any drastic changes. just because one person says they sound sweet, dont mean they will sound sweet to you. hell some people think straight pipes with glass packs sound good
