Default Clogged cats? How to diagnose? lean>?

I am trying to figure out if my cats are clogged, does anyone know the operating temperature for stock cats? I tried knocking on the cat and it still feels solid inside.

If you can get your hands on a Laser Temp gun its a very easy diagnosis. Run the car and check the before temp vs after temp and compare the two cats. Usually the clogged one will run really hot on the before side.
Other than that you should throw a CEL if it is clogged, mine did both times. Does it fall on it's face at WOT in the mid/upper RPM's?

Running lean could be a possible intake leak.
