Default LS1 to LS6 PCV conversion

I have an LS1 intake, so will I be okay with the LS1 coolant vent tubes when I switch to the LS6 PCV?

I know..I know...I need to get an LS6 Intake

Thanks!

no it will not work unless to grind down the bottom of the ls6 intake! but its cheep just to buy the 01-02 coolant block off's and front cross over pipe!

whoops!

As far as the ls6 valley cover you should be ok you might have to push down on the coolant tube a little

Can anyone else confirm that a LS1 intake, LS6 PCV, and LS1 coolant vent tubes will all fit?

Sould work fine. If you switch to a LS6 intake, then you will need the different coolant tubes.

I could also grind the bottom of the intake right?

Yes, that'll work as well. I did that with my ls6 intake on my ls1 block. Just grinded out a path on the bottom of the intake manifold for the coolant pipes. But be careful.

Haha...thanks! That's the LS6 intake right?

I'm finally getting around to putting everything back on my engine and the LS1 coolant tube doesn't exactly fit like a glove with the LS6 PCV. The tube wants to go right over the PCV vent tube. I'm thinking I'll just cut it and use fuel lines to tie it back together. Has anyone done this before?
