question on sensor, new MTI airlid installed!!

Default question on sensor, new MTI airlid installed!!

well i got my new airlid from MTI and installed it. now on the new lid there is no place or hole for the sensor that went before the MAF.... and i have a SES code. just wondering what exactly it is, what it affects and what to do about it?? any help would be appreciated greatly!! thanks , Matt

IAT sensor, drill a hole in the lid for it and stick it in there.

Thats weird. MTI must have forgot to drill the hole. Mine had it.

2000+ lids dont have it drilled

That sucks, after drilling the hole make sure the iat sensor stays there.
