Default LS1 Serpentine Belt replacement

Getting some general maintenance done on my '02 Firehawk and wanted to ask how long before the serpentine belt should be replaced? I have about 73K mi, is that too soon or should I start thinking about replacing? No squeaking or noticable deep cracks ... yet!!! Please advise.

Any 20 dollar part that wears, and will leave me stranded if it breaks gets changed regularly!

73k, you should replace it for sure

just check the belt...does it have cracks, show signs of major wear, or has teeth taken out of it?.....at 73k miles its not like its going to kill you to replace it...

I'm not sure but I believe I read that it is suggested maintenence(sp)? at 60,000 miles. I did mine, cheap and easy peace of mind.

I changed both belts as soon as I got my car. Cost $30 and took 15 minutes. Cheap, easy insurance.
