Default Best Cat-Back System for 2002 SS ??

Hey Guys,
I have a 2002 SS with the dual-dual outlet SLP cat-back from SLP. It's very queit ,but seems to belt out a nice performance sound when I nail it. Is there a better cat-system out there than this one ? Thanks in advance

not really. The dualdual flows better than most of the cat-backs out there.
The loudmouth would outflow it but alot of poeple dont like the sound.
I say go wtih true duals which will sound better, and outflow the dualdual.
If your just looking for a louder sound, an ORY-pipe through the dualdual sounds badass

I think Camaros look cleaner without exhaust pipes haning out the back, unless you have the CME (center mount exhaust). True dual are the way to go on a Camaro IMO.

That's a good catback you have. If you plan on doing headers at anytime, your setup would be perfect.

yeah if i were you i'd just keep the dual/dual, add a cutout, and put some headers on. The dual/dual wont be too loud with headers and cutout closed, and when you race you can open up the cutout. THats what most people do with their SS/WS6 in my car club.

if you want the most you can get out of a cat back i would say the loudmouth. its no different than a straight pipe. i recommend finding some other f-bod owners and listening to there set up. with cats i love my loud mouth but for some its to much and for others not enough. sound clips on the net or a start but no where next to actually hearing it in person. i found a local person with the loudmouth and i fell right in love. you have a good flowing catback now. to improve on flow from what you got = no muffler (louder). yes headers no cats and such will increase your volume but can you do that? can you pass an emissions test then if you go that way? do you want to switch y pipes every time you go for an inspection?
some people do it all the time and say no prob. for me id rather be driving it. sorry for such a novel but its a personal desicion and what i or someone else loves you may hate. get out there and listen. good luck!

I have Slp lt's with the loudmouth and no cats. It's bloody loud. It sounds unreal at high rpm. Not for the faint of heart sir.
