I had two on my old Z28 which had the TSP true duals and my CETA has one at the end of the Y-pipe

When I had the y-pipe setup, I had one in the I-pipe. It was alright but it was VERY choppy sounding. Do dual cutouts make it more refined? Like right off of the headers?

I lost horsepower with two on the TDs but they were only on there for the noise of the F13

Those look like they would scrape right there.

I have had 1 in the I-pipe before. 2 off the headers. 2 off the mufflers. ect. I have had a cut-out everywhere.

Before I went true-duals, I had one in the I-pipe just before the axle.

just 1 QTEC. If u want the best/loudest sound...2 are needed...A friend has a 396 chevelle with 2..sounds great..much better...same with an LS1---better sound overall....

I've just used a single one a couple of times. I haven't built anything yet (or finished anything yet I should say) that really needed 2 cutouts.

I had this setup on my WS6. It's loud & shakes everything. I used to love it but I can't stand open headers anymore

Very rarely open.

Picks up power though, so I run it open when I race.
