Default Install University- EGR free Mod!

"The EGR pipe protrudes down behind the throttle body restricting airflow. Cutting down the part of the pipe that protrudes down behind the throttle body will provide better flow into the intake manifold." (quote from Install University)

After performing this mod is it possible that some of the air could be seeping from the Intake into the exhaust manifold through the EGR?

I've been having problems with the LTFT on bank 2 for a week know where they are at 9.38% and higher depending on the speed. I've checked for vaccuum leaks and exhaust leaks and did not find any. The LTFT in bank 1 seem to stay steady at 5.38% and lower?

Please help any suggestions are welcome!
