hey guys, not sure if i am posting in the right place, but if not feel free to move it. I am almost finished with my lq4 (6.0) install and have some quick questions for yall! I have this installed in a 2000 z28! Can i connect everything and use the same computer? will anything mess up if having it on, I will have it tuned eventually during the week, but not at the begging. also i am running open headers can i turn it on? is this safe? thanks in advance!yes i am running a larger cam! its a 236/242 not sure on the rest but i think its something like 6.10-6.15 on a 114 lsa! oh and open headers will be run from the shop 2 my house only which is about 2 miles!! if thats alright!

LQ4 is basically a iron LSx motor. Sure you can use the stock computer. But it will need some tuning... especially with the cam.

with a cam that size without a tune im not sure how your going to be able to keep it at idle....or run right at all....

ya i understand but i only running it to my house and then having it tuned during the week! and duals r going on as far as exhaust goes! thnaks guys!
