Got the itch RIGHT NOW!
Ok, so I sold one of the toys a few months ago after I bought my 2000 TA. So far I have bought a SLP heads and Cam pack. LS6 cnc ported and polished heads, and a 236/226 Cam. I believe its a 112 duration. I got the ported LS6 oil pump, and a double roller chain. Still in the box. The ONLY mod on the car is the Lid/filter and bellows. I got 1300 bucks in my pocket and want to get some parts RIGHT NOW. Any suggestions?

look bro, this is why you should lay out a plan before you start dumping money. for starters, you have an a4. you first major mod should be a converter, aside from headers. u will know once u install the heads and cam with the stock converter. you will hate it!! first of all, what exactly are u doing by adding heads and cam? sure, you are adding power, but you are pushing your power band futher up in the higher rpm range.....the place that the stock converter will hardly ever see on the street. a higher stall converter will get u and keep u in the rpm range you want to be in. having said that, you should choose a stall that fits your driving style and daily driving needs. once u know what stall is comfortable...not too high, not too low....not too loose, not too tight, then u will want to match your head/cam size to your chosen power band. but, since u already have the heads and cam, choose your stall based on that, and just pray that you like and can live with the application you have chosen. good luck bro
but seriously, heads and cam without headers?? its like giving a bum $1 million but forbidding him to spend a dime of it. you dont wanna choke your engine. you are making it inhale much more air, but not letting it exhale.
just my $.02

I am gonna say this one more time... My heads and cam pack are still sitting wrapped up quite nicely in the box I got them shipped to me in. They are NOT going to be slapped on until I have the parts to do the COMPLETE package. Just looking for a little instant gratification of installing something worth while. Anyway. Yeah I am going to put on a Catback today. Picking up a Magnaflow in a little while. Yall ******* need to give me some credit! I am planning on doing FULL bolt ons, including a stall this winter. Gives me time to piece together my setup, and I still get to drive my car for the summer.
Might have been born at night, but it sure wasnt last night.

well from your statement "Yeah but I dont feel like lying on the ground for hours today. Expecially since it might rain." it kinda seemed as if you were skipping over some very significant pieces to your puzzle. my advice was a stall would be a good thing to do before deciding on a h/c package. that way u can figure out what size stall youre comfortable with. then u can match your cam size with your stall rpm range. anyway, good luck f**ker

ss3600 is a great converter (when your ready for your H/C, a stall is a must), but the best bolt on IMO is headers. I felt the biggest gain, and the way it makes your car sound is unbelievable.

Header and ORY - 500 bucks
Stall converter - 700 bucks
That is what I would do with the $$ you have. If you don't want to lay on your back , well then I don't know what to tell you.

I never understood why so many people throw stalls in a tranny and don't build the rest of it up. To build the transmission properly with the stall, shiftkit, cooler, clutches, and etc. it will cost a min of $2k. I say thats where you put your money, it will save you almost .5 on your ET on an otherwise stock car, after that, do your longtubes and either TD or Y pipe setup and your H/C.
His 3.23's will be sufficient, it depends on the power band of that cam, if he had 2.73's it would be a whole different story.
