Default Concerning "Greddy" oil catch can

Hi everyone;

I received my oil catch can the other day, and purchased the "T" mounting bracket. There are 2 holes in the back where you attach the unit to the bracket (did not receive the screws, or bolts). I plan on attaching the unit to the bracket, and mounting it on the passenger side shock tower.

Please excuse these questions, if my stupidity is keeping me from figureing it out:

1. Once this can is full of oil, HOW DO YOU DRAIN IT?
(if it is secured to the bracket from the rear, and the bracket is
secured to the vehicle, to me it is now imobile and there is
no drain valve)

2. I received only 2 blue "Earls" clamps, yet I have 4 connections?
(this is easier, I figured out to purchase 2 more, however one
would think all the necessary hardware would be provided.)

Thanks in advance.

SteveC

SteveC,
I didn't order the T bracket with mine so I can't help you with that. I just mounted it with double-sided tape and its worked fine.
To drain the can you don't have to remove it. Instead you can just take off the top (4 allen head screws) and then use a turkey baster or mighty vac to get the oil out.
I also didn't use the supplied tubing and fittings. Instead I used 3/8" rubber fuel line and clamps (this size works great if you ordered your can with the 9mm fittings). The tubing looks OEM.

I can email you a pic of mine if you want.

Fulton 1, thanks so much for the information, I did order the 9 MM unit, if I understand the connection, one tube from the PCV line to the can, the other tube from the can to the throttle body. Is that correct?

Thanks in advance.
