Tools needed for header install?
I am doing my long tube install this weekend and was wondering if I need to get any special style ratchet or wrench to get to the bolts in the headers easier? I have alot of tools but I was curious if anyone has run into not have something that is out of the ordinary to install them?
Thanks!

Re: Tools needed for header install?
the racheting wrenches work wonders, espciealy on the far passenger side coil pack bolt
Othere then that, just your basic rachets and wrenches!!
Have fun!! take your time, and remember, the stuff will come out, and the new stuff will go in!!

I would buy the right size tap to clean out the bolt holes (in your heads), before you install the new headers. They are sometimes filled with anti-seize from the original bolts... It takes more time to clean the holes out, but it is worth it....

I used a stubby 3/8 swiveling socket wrench which proved very useful. Like what was said above, ratcheting box end wrenches make life much easier.

A Craftsman 3/8" offset flex rachet is a great help, Mechanix Wear gloves ( at your local AutoZone ) would nice. Your asking about tools but here's a suggestion, put a shop rag into the motor mount area when removing bolts and plugs. If you drop a plug down there you'll understand why you should have.

A 12 pack? Man, you must drink slow... that would have been less than one an hour for me... or, maybe I just work too slow...
Oh, and you might want to get some anti-sieze to put on darn near everything that you put back together. You never know, you might want to take something back out.
