Question How bad could an exhaust leak cause a car to run?

I have an exhaust leak where my header collector hooks up to the exhaust. How bad would this affect the car?

it depends on how close the leak is to the o2.....id say from experience within 12" of the o2, it will effect your car and cause it to run rich...

Yeah, its pretty close to the O2 sensor; but I'm trying to figure out how bad that might be affecting the car.

it will hurt your gas mileage and take away some horsepower, how do i know bc mine is leaking and its right where the header and Y pipe meet. Hopefully getting custom true duals made by my friend who makes them fit great, will help.

mess up the O2 sensors, lean could be really bad. Also if you get a tune with a leak then fix the leak you will need another tune. I fought with the exhaust a whole evening to stop it leaking just before the mufffler. Once fixed you should be good forever with stainless steel.

I have slip fit, sucking air at high exhaust velocities, running open loop speed den, noticed wide band started indicating 16.5 to 1, from 13.1 to one. Same injector DS, same VE, same MPH, same 1/4.

Grim.
