Default Plug wire is driving me NUTS!

My 01 SS only has 32K miles on it. The #2 plug wires will wiggle it's way a loose every so often. It seems to be getting worst (everytime I drive the car). I only drive it once or twice a week. But it will back off the plug a little, and of course cause this awful skip. It there a quick fix to this? Is this a normal LS1 issue or is it time for a set of Granatelli's?

are you pushing the wire all the way on, you should hear a click. or maybe the wire is bad. even tho its low mileage wires could still deteriate.

If you are sure the plug wire is on correctly I would call granatelli and demand a replacement...hell for the price of those wires you better get one!

I'm currently running stock wires, I guess I should have mentioned that. When I replace them, I will be going with Granatelli. And they do come with a lifetime warrenty. And if I alreay had them, that call would have been made long time ago.

I push it on by hand, until I feel it click into place. And it will keep coming off. Whenever it's skipping, I go to the #2 wire push it on. And when I fire it up, it's just as smooth as it's suppose to be. Everytime, I can tll the #2 wire is not all the way on. And I have to push it back on.

And you'd be right.

Yesterday, I got fed up and pulled the wire off to get a closer look. And to my surprise the metal clip was not there. I don’t know if it degenerated or what. Either way it has to be replaced. I monkeyed up a wire to work until Granatelli gets here .
