exhaust manifold for 5.3 motor I have a 2003 5.3 from a tahoe, and looking for a manifold that is closer to the engine block for a jeep conversion. First I was told to look for camaro manifolds, now a local dealer told me they will not work. Anyone help with this one?

I used modified 99 f body manifolds on my 96 Blazer with 2005 5.3. They are pretty close to engine. Just cut off the flanges and weld on extensions with v-flanges or use band clamps to hold your y-pipe or duals on. Like this
