separate radiator for the 4a ?
can I cool my 4L60E (4a) with a B&M remote radiator that has an electric fan with thermostat, only.
I want to increase my surface area for cooling the engine by dedicating the entire radiator to the engine.
Thanks

There are coolers with the fan already attached, and making
your own would just involve a couple of 12VDC muffin fans, a
thermostat and a little sheet metal shroud cobbling (about $20
- $30 all told, on top of the cooler itself). If you still shed trans
cooler heat into the radiator air path it's probably a zero-sum
game though, other than less of a radiator airflow blockage.
Wonder about using one of those frame-rail (long, skinny) coolers,
and cut a slot in the chin spoiler to feed it. That would work pretty
well for rolling, dunno about parked. But get the hot exit air off the
radiator/condenser stack.
With its own fans you might be able to make it draw from the chin
hole, but dump elsewhere.
