Default Need write-up on installing headers!!

Hey I would appreciate it if anybody could give me a write-up or could explain how to install MACS mid lengths on a 2002 Firehawk...we are gonna tackle this on this Memorial weekend......Easiest way or suggestions.....By the way We will do this on the ground.....place the car on 4 jackstands..............Thanks

take the old ones out, put new ones in pretty self explanatory.

You'll only need two jackstands, four is over kill. Not too sure about the macs, but what I did for my SLP's was to jack the car up first. Then, remove the stock y-pipe. Then, pull the spark plug wires and spark plugs out. Next, remove the manifolds. Now you need to put the new headers in and do everything in reverse. On the SLP's I did have to remove the steering shaft to get the new header in. Good luck on the install.

thats a good write up,, used it myself with a couple of other tricks cause I have SLP's
