LS6 what? intake? cam? block? what?

im going to ASSUME here you are talking about the LS6 intake manifold.. well its a direct swap... if you have a 01-02 Fbody. If you have a 98-00.. you need to remove your EGR system.. no biggie..

Why would you want to swap an LS6 intake manifold onto a 2001 or 2002?

You gotta get the coolant plugs and crossover kit for the intake and an EGR/AIR block off kit.

The coolant plugs and lines aren't necessary at all. I just used a dremel and a cut off wheel and cut off all the little tabs on the bottom of the LS6 intake that were in the way. Worked like a charm, cheap and efficient.
