Default What about a Tri-Y Header for an LS1?

Any benifits over say QTP w/ Merge Collector?

From what I have read a Tri-Y scavanges, and is a "ideal" header design

Any thoughts?

Thoughts? Yep, it's a great idea! That's the up side.

Down side is nobody makes them commercially, they would cost more than 4 into 1's, so the market would be small unless we knew that big time racers used them. They might, but they don't tell.

There is a company that will fab them on your vehicle for about 2 large ($2000).

There was an interesting discussion on this subject on one of the "other" boards" a month or so ago. Try a search on "tri-y" and my user name.

Keep thinking out of the box!

I'm not sure on this but I believe Kooks makes a tri-Y setup for our cars. moreperformance has pics of them. Pretty sweet looking.

Belanger makes some for the C5 and they're definately not "all-that". I wouldnt spend a penny extra for Tri-Y.

I'd rather have John B make a set of headers for me.
