Question help with manifold disconnect fuel lines etc.

Ive never used the fuel line removal tools before and cant figure out how to disconnect my fuel line from the rails please help.also what is that black valve on the driver side rail it has one wire harness going to it with a red connector my car is an 01 and i was told that o1s dont have regulators some advice will help thanks.

All you do is slide the disconnect tool over the line on the mainfold side of the connection & push it back toward the driverside firmly into the fuel fitting on the rails. Pull the fuel line while your pushin it in there & it'll come right off.

exactly like he said,

in my car the damn thing just would not come of.. so i just pulled like a motherf**ker till it broke and bougth a new one

When I first removed my intake i was dumbfounded by that line. Then I realized there was more to it that just pulling on it....LOL. That little tool is worth its weight it gold. Just slide it in and pull it apart. Nothing to it.....
