Default Anyone with Coil Relocation

I was wondering if anyone has relocated the coils off of the Valve covers...and if they do, i was wondering the pros/cons of this and if ppl have pics of ur coils that are relocated....thanks

most people only do it for solid roller engines, to easily get to the valve train.

Remember the shorter the wires the better.

IMO coilpack relocation gains looks, but the longer wires are a negative.

oh good point i wasnt thinkin about the looks or even the longer wires put good points on each...

In a quality spark plug wire there is typically less than 100-ohms of resistance per foot. A performance plug wire such as the MSD 8.5mm Super Conductors, average less than 50ohms/foot...this means that the difference between a standard 6-inch plug wire and a "long" 8-inch plug wire for tall valve covers (where the coils are mounted above the rocker covers, such as Thunder Racing or Katech) is approximately 8-ohms of resistance. IMHO, not enough resistance for consideration. And even when relocating to the firewall, I doubt that it would "noticably" affect performance. Again, IMHO.
