Default LS6 vs LS2 intake -- how to tell the diff?

What year Corvette was the last year for the LS6 intake? Also, does anyone have the p/n for the LS2 intake or an easy way to tell the difference between the LS6 and LS2?

Other than some of the bracketry issues, will an LS2 intake will install on an LS1 without problems?

LS2 Intake Part #: 89017648
LS6 Intake Part #: 12573572

And as far as putting a LS2 intake on a LS1:

You need the LS2 fuel rail and "o" rings for your LS1 injectors, a 90mm tb, an extra throttle body bolt (LS1 is three, LS2 is four) and a throttle cable bracket from SDPC (I did not know I needed this until halfway through my swap and realized I had nowhere to mount the cables )

How much gain can be expected from an LS2 intake over stock LS1?

Stock LS2 compared to a stock LS1, the LS2 will make more power but it will be a very small gain. Now if you get a ported LS2, then you will see a big gain, even more than a LS6, comparable to a Fast 90mm.
