Just the block off plates. Remove the pump from under the driver's side headlight. Then follow the big black hose up to the next things that must be removed. There is some sort of distribution block for the air that sits on the driver's side of the motor way in the back then each AIR hose comes off of that to the headers/manifolds. Remove all that, and then use the block off plates and you should be set.

I too am removing the AIR system in one of my cars, but I do not have a set of block off plates--where is a good place to get them?

no, there is nothing to plug up. Remove the hoses and such, and use the 2 block off plates and you are set.

Me too. It's a very small line behind intake. Plastic I believe with a rubber end on it.

There was on mine. When I removed the little air solenoid from the top/driver area of the intake there's on vacuum line that was left and needed plugged. I'll see if I can find a picture of it anywhere.

It was the same one that svodave is describing.

There is a difference in systems in the years of the cars. 98-99 had one type I think and 00-02 had another.
EGR and the air system are two different animals on my 99

A 2000. I believe 00-02 should all have the vacuum line that has to be plugged. I'm not sure about the 99's.
