Question about EGR AIR removal

Question about EGR AIR removal I installed long tube headers and removed egr and air but i can not remove the piece that goes into the intake manifold or should i just screw something onto it?
It is the little brass piece right behind the throttle body. Here is a pic of what it looks like.
