Default is a lid worth the money?

i got an 02 T/A M6, Pacesetter LT's, TSP ORY, and TSP Torquer V.3......dont have a lid on the car currently i heard that on stock cars that a lid can add 10RWHP but i heard on a cammed F-body it can add even more and that it would be a very noticable difference.....is the power gain worth the money

All that WITH a cam on a stock box? Yes... a lid would be very good for you. Your motor must be starving.

lid should be one of the first things you do if you are wanting to go faster.

Lid is one of the better mods you can do to these cars. Getting a lid and modifing the bottom for more air is $$

Good lord you did Cam/Exhaust but forgot to do the lid first? Your dyno guy should be shot for not recommending one...He should have upsold you the damn thing by showing you the dyno before/after comparison. I'm just chuckling to myself still trying to understand how the hell you missed this as a starter mod? LOL! Sorry!

You should notice something but then again everyone's seat of the pants is different. I put one on an otherwise stock T/A and noticed a difference, better throttle response and a bit more up top.

Just put lid on my stocker. I would have run the best ET I have ever run if I wouldn't have let off (elimination round). I also had my best 60' w/ the lid. But in all honestly, I doubt it had much to do w/ the lid. I think it had more to do w/ a stickier than ever track.

Actually, less. I think Speed Inc sells it for like $92. And SLP redesigned their lid so you'd be getting a better lid.

+1, boot your 'friend' in the ***.

a lid should be the FIRST mod you do to your car....not the last.
