Question biggset cam with..........

what is the biggest cam you can use with stock valve springs????

Uh, stock. But seriously why would you go thru the effort of putting a cam in and not replace the springs, IMO. I'd wait until you have money for springs. Break a spring and you could drop a valve and be screwed.

Stock springs are barely sufficient for the stock cam...

yeah pretty much what he said, STOCK camshaft if even that...

upgrade all the components at one time, dual springs, bases, retainers, pushrods, oil pump and timing chain. thank us later for the foresight, or you can install just the cam, grenade your engine and then ask us "What happened...?"...

You could just get some yellow ls6 springs and then you could go with the asa cam. Never have to worry about changing the valve springs
