Default Exhaust cold-start rattle?

Why does my Corsa exhaust tend to rattle when I'm switching between gears right after a cold start? After 5 minutes of warming up this stops. Does this have something to do with condensation?

Thanks,
Brian

Usually when something rattles when it is cold and then stops as your exhaust does,it is because a connection, possible the I pipe is a little loose and it expands after it heats up and tightens up around the loose area.If it is not completely welded on check for any clamps that are loose.

The corsa exhaust has several clamps. Initially there was some backfiring. I then retightened all the clamps and eliminated the backfiring. But, you're right, I don't know if all of the clamps are air tight. Is there any way to seal the clamps without having to weld them shut? It would have to be an extremely high temp sealant.

Thanks,
Brian
