cam swap help!!

Default cam swap help!!

ok im doing a cam install in about a week or so and i was wondering if anyone know what size is the harmonic balancer so i can use a deep pack socket to get it out.. is that the fasted/easiest way to take it off and also to put it back on thanks in advance..

24mm and an impact wrench didn't work for me needed to a breaker bar to get it free. Good luck with the a4. If the impact wrench doesn't work, you'll need to lock the flywheel. There a tool for it, but I don't know where it is.

so u recommend just buying the flywheel locking tool...

yea like he said its 24mm if you cant get the tool to lock the engine in place you could remove the starter and use a good sized and strong flat tip screw driver or prybar to hold the flywheel still.

thanks guys i buy the locking tool but just in case that dont work ill do what u guys recommened!
