Default LS6/LS1 & Fast 90 Material Composition??

A buddy and I were talkin the other day during our nonmetallics materials course about what the intake manifolds for the Gen III/IV motors are actually made of and how they are made? Kind of a randomn question I know but we are curious. Preciate it!

The GM intakes are made from a material called "Nylon 66". I don't know WTF that means. haha

I think it also goes by the trade name "Zytel" and is a fiber
reinforced high temperature nylon.

I read an article that stated they (ls intakes not FAST) were "welded" together sonicaly. Thought that was cool.

I think they are made from a substance that we acquired from aliens
