Default FAST 78 and stock TB issue

Well I was out playing with the car yesterday and noticed this:

The PCV intake on the FAST 78 manifold interferes with the stock throttle body opening all the way

What the hell? Anyone else have this problem? The cable pulley is hitting the hose and preventing 100% opening. I didn't hook up anything to see if the ECM is "seeing" less than 100% but thats my next step. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to grind the pulley a bit to allow it to open all the way. Any other ideas?

yeah, try thin walled hose or grind throttle cam arm a little. what i would do, is save your money and invest in a wilson 78mm t/b. you will not believe the diffrence it will make over a stock, or ported stock t/b.

If you run across a 98 throttle body, cheap, you could get it. They have a smaller plate on the end of the throttle shaft.

yep, get the smaller throttle cam from an 01-02? car and that should solve your problems.

Thanks guys I went to town on it last night with a file and my Dremel and got it just about all the way there. I just ground a tiny bit of material off the cable pulley and she's good to go. Will get pics later.
