Default throttle body

ok time for thinking.. i have read somewhere on here looks like that most people say use a ported throttle body vs bbk's bigger throttle body. I am wondering though which is better ported throttle body on stock ls6 intake or a bbk body with an aluminum ported ls6 intake?? also would the aluminum intake create more heat then the stock ls6 intake?

Unless you are using a supercharger or have a big cubes motor I wouldn't go with the BBK, its a waste, even with my forged internals F.I. motor, I'm going to be using the stock ported TB

stock ported on an LS6......BUT....not because the stock ported is better than the BBK....

The only reason I say this is the aluminum LS6 intake it the wrong way to go. It will get a lot of heat soak yet most people don't get much imporvement over the factory LS6 intake.

The way I would go (and did go) is with the BBK and the factory LS6 intake. I like the BBK a lot!
