Default ATI balancer installation question.

Do I install it the same way I install the stock one?
I just got it today and wanted to make sure. I should be able to take it out of the box and just install it and its ready to go right?

Also I got an ARP bolt. Is there a differnt torque spec for it rather than stock?

I installed the sleeve first using 618Hawk's tool (long threaded rod with a thrust bearing to pull it on)...if you have the A/C pulley as well, that will have to go on first before you do this. After that, I lightly tapped the main part of the pulley onto the snout, and pulled it down to the right spot by slowly tightening the T-40 torx plus head screws in a criss-cross pattern. After that was in place, I tightened the three longer bolts that hold the A/C pulley in place.

Hope that made sense. As for the ARP bolt, that gets torqued to about 240 ft-lbs...it is not a torque to yield bolt like the stock bolt. I torqued mine down to about 250 ft-lbs because I don't ever want that SOB flying off...

Ok I'm a little cofused.
I don't have one with an AC pulley, I didn't need that pulley.
Mine is all in one piece right now. Do I need to take it apart before I install it?

In that case, no you don't. Mine came disassembled in three pieces (and I thought yours was too)...nevermind my first post. Just install it like you would any other pulley.
