Default Alternator wiring question

Is it ok to run a power wire from the alternator to the starter then from the starter to the fuse box then from the fuse box to the battery?

I moved the fuse box to inside the car and I am trying to keep wiring at a minimum, but I wanted to make sure it is ok to do it that way.

Also will I be able to kill it with a kill switch and be NHRA legal?
Battery is in the rear and switch would be before battery.
