Thats an SLP dual/dual for sure. It sounds wicked because of the H/C. I personally thought it was a loudmouth from just looking at the tips and hearing the sound. Once the camera dropped down and I saw the muffler, I knew it was a dual/dual. It's a great sounding exhaust, especially with engine work.

The volume on the camera just seemed to be really sensitive.

Hahah this video is of my car. It sounds real raspy at higher r's. Its not just the camera, its kinda ear piercing at the rev limiter, its got a ton of tone. Now i just added a pair of 3in cut-outs where the cats used to be, so il be adding a vid of that when i get a chance as well.... talk about loud now.

But now i have a ? for any of you with cut-outs, did it seem like they quieted your exhaust note. My car deff seems quieter. Do u think when they are closed the 2 extra y's act like small mufflers, holding up some of the exhaust??
Or am i just retarted

I do not think that they will make much of a noticeable difference at all. So you had cats in that video or are you talking about stock cats?

it seems to be a hell of a catback, i bet they quit making it cuz it's so damn quiet on a stock manifold/catted cars. plus some of them had that damn ring of silence on them. i just cut my tail pipe off and it didn't have the ring so i'm ready to install it. for research, it's a slp installed dual/dual catback from a later 01 ss(with centermoutn tips)

I took it once in july I believe... before my cutouts and gears and some more weight reduction. It was first time i ever went to track in any car let alone this one. I ran a 12.7 at 114.6 with a 2.13 60ft time lol. So needless to say i need some practice, i might actually go again this fri. Im hopn for some low 12's. silverLSWON, your gona like this cam, the top end of it is great. I would go with a 112 next time around, i wanted it with a bit more choppy idle but im happy with it. Plus this cam isnt very torquey so the lower lsa would help more.

I didn't know they did... Idiots. I have really liked mine, it is quiet and free flowing. I had the muffler, tail pipe assembly fall off at the track and I didn't pick up any mph without it.

right now i'm doing consistant 12.2's @115 on 17in MT DR cutting a 1.89 60's with a m6 so i'm sure you could do it(driver mod) usally full wieght 425 rwhp cars can do mid-low elevens with low 60's. my 224(114 lsa) cam isn't that torquey, unless your in 1st gear but mid range is good, i just want a bigger cam and that seems to fit me. soon as i hit 11s with my 224 cam it's coming out, i'll be racing at the lsx shootout

Those are the kinda times im hopn for next time out, its just that i have the stock 10 bolt in there with the 3.73's now, so im a little afraid of leaving my rear on the track. I dont do any clutch dumps, i just drag it out. Thats why my 60ft times are so damn terrible (plus the fact that i really dont know how to race my car yet) But once i get a 9in with some MT's than its on.

Yeah it's a Dual/Dual. Mine is just a bit quieter than that. I'd say the H/C is whats makin it loud.

I think there was a thread a few weeks ago stating that SLP started making the Dual/Dual again. So any of thoise that want them better grab one befroe they change their minds again.
