Default doesn't like to idle

well i just got done putting on my k&n CAI, TB coolant bypass, and taking the AIR system out of my '02 SS. i noticed that after i cranked it up the first time after i installed all this, it idled roughly and wanted to die. i figured the computer just needed to adjust itself for the increased airflow and after a while it did get better but it still wants to shut off sometimes when its just idling. oh yea, my temp gauge stopped working about the third time i cranked it up after all the mods were done. does anybody know any reason its doing this? thanks

Check the ECT sensor connector to be sure it's plugged in tight.
