5.3L truck oil pan on 98 LS1 will this work and besides the shape and probably the length, what is the difference, if my car is real low, is this a good idea? need an oil pan and found a 5.3L truck pan instead.

I dont think it will fit over the K member... it will bolt up to the motor fine, and if it does even clean I'm willing to bet you'll lose a pretty good amount of ground clearence.
