Default 5.3L truck oil pan on 98 LS1

will this work and besides the shape and probably the length, what is the difference, if my car is real low, is this a good idea? need an oil pan and found a 5.3L truck pan instead.

I dont think it will fit over the K member... it will bolt up to the motor fine, and if it does even clean I'm willing to bet you'll lose a pretty good amount of ground clearence.
