Default ls6 or fast 90 combo on stock motor

I have a 408 motor that I was going to put into my corvette but have later decided to do a turbo setup in my vette. I have a fast 90 combo and was wondering if I could just put it on my stock motor and notice any decent gains or if I should buy a ls6 intake until I decide to go all out on motor. I haven't seen much saying that the fast won't work..just that it wont really outperform the ls6 on a stock motor. So question is, should I buy an ls6 or would I be fine just putting the fast 90 intake and tb on the motor for a few months until I buy the turbo setup.

if you have the FAST 90 already go for it, especially if you plan on gonig with a larger more powerful motor in the future.

the FAST 90 will give more power than the LS6 on a stock motor - just not where you can use it, say high up in the rpm's.

It is overkill on a stock motor, but since you already have it I'd just put it on to save yourself from spending $350 on an LS6 intake that you will be taking off in a few months.

So won't do much for me over an ls6 but should give me heaps over an ls1?
Will the Fast be a great improvement for use with a TT setup running stock bottom psi like 6 or 8 max. What if I use nitrous? With the fast, will it help out much on the stock motor?

yes it will be worlds better than the ls6 intake. it will be a very nice improvement for a TT motor and running nitrous as well. However, most people use a metal intake for turbo set ups but sicne you arent running a lot of boost you should be fine

Most people on the F.I. section will be running the LS6 intake. You won't find many using the Fast 90.

fast 90 is good but as said, useless on a stock motor for useable power, just alotta upper end power, now when you are done with your build up it will be very beneficial

So, are you saying it won't be an improvement over an ls1 intake on a stock motor?

It will definitely be an improvement over an LS1 intake on a stock motor.
