Default Pacesetters are here....pics and opinions within>>

Well, everyone is right, they look like hookers without the crazy bends in them. The build quality is OK, not the top of the class, but definately not crappy either. It appeared that the drivers side collector got bent a little during shipping....no biggie...a hammer can fix that. I also included a comparision to Kooks 1 3/4 stainless. Anyway...if you have any questions, feel free to post away...

If they do get you up to 400rwhp, then I'm definately getting me some. What are you going to be using for a y-pipe? Will you be running cats?

they look pretty nice? Defineatly worth it for the $
If you had no headers on before you probably will see 400 to the wheels.

The kooks velocity spike (Goilet) is bent...wouldnt want that set. For pacesetters they look great..I've seen a few bad sets over the years (JC Whitney) ...but they do lack in quality...but at that price...buy two sets. Also note no Goilet. Good luck...watch them outperform the rest.

I would love to see them do well. It seems many of our aftermarket parts are overpriced.

Those actually look pretty damn good. Can't wait for my coated ones to arrive. With the money I saved with going with these headers, as opposed to Kooks or QTP, I can get me another go-fast mod.

VERY interesting. Can these be had without the emissions hook-ups? How much do they cost again, and who is selling them..I have not seen them on a sponsor's site. I guess that paint will burn off pretty quick and they will rust.....is there any paint procedure that will help that besides Jet-Hot coating them?

If your dad becomes a sponser please be sure he returns e-mails. Hope he does join though.

I don't think the equality of primary lengths will be that big of a factor if you are looking to get some headers without taking out a loan for them.

Does anyone know if you can get them without the emissions hook-ups?
And what about the paint again? I'd hate to install these just to have them rust to hell in a couple days.

Go over to ls1.com and read the sponsors post. He said if he could get enough they would start making them without the emissions. Also someone said the uncoated ones (black paint) just melts off.

Look like some nice headers for the price...the only thing I don't like to see is rust already forming in the collector. Let us know how they turn out. - Pat
