Default Removed AIR trouble

as it says I removed it today. I took all hoses and pump out. I have a 01 T/A and it has one little tube that connected to the circular plastic peice where all the hoses split. I dont know what to do with that. Also, there is a clicking noise now when i accelerate. Are the two related? Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks

Remove the piece on the intake. Clicking is probably an exhaust leak.
