With my new engine there was a lot of oil in the intake and heads... so im trying to figure out if its the rings or the PCV sys... so what I am thinkin about doin is to eliminate the poss. of the pcv sys causing this problem by running a hose from the LS6 Valley Cover to the passeger side front valve cover nipple and putting a metco breather on it...

Then blocking off the TB and Intake ports...


anyone tried this ? how about opinions ?

Im sure it will work, but why not just do an oil can?

I have the same setup as you and believe me, even with the LS6 PCV and a can, there's still quite a bit of oil going into the intake.I had my intake off yesterday and couldn't believe it!
