Buy an electric water pump, you'll make more power, going from LS1 to an LS6 water pump will do nothing for you, and put a 160* thermostat in it.

my point exactly..... if you don't plan on rebuilding an electric water pump...don't go for it....i read somewhere a while back that the electric ones will most likely need rebuilding after 3-5 years of use..as for the ls6 pump....i never heard a cooling difference from the ls1...im assuming thats why it says "race only"

The electric pump is way to expensive for what it actually does....

Agreed. You will get more bang for the buck spending $500-600 dollars on other parts for your car that will more efficiently utililize exising rwhp than the questionable 5-6 horsespower you gain with an EWP.

And I doubt mine will last 100,000 miles.

Some parts instead of an EWP:
Shocks
Torque Arm
MT Drag Radials
LT's
LCA's + Panhard
Magnaflow catback or other
SPAL Extreme 3000 Fan
Fronts - wheels and tires (skinnies)
