Stock Ls1 heads to 5.3 heads??

Will I see a big gain going from stock ls1 heads to 5.3 heads? My buddy has a set lying in his garage that we thought about porting and sticking on my cam only motor. Will the compression increase net a big gain?

You'l net a gian with just the compression but it wont be big. Porting the heads will produce good results if done right so it's a good and worth while project if your looking for something to do.
